This is my first post on my brand new blog, congrats to me for finally making this first step, just wanted to greet everybody and welcome all responses good or bad. This blog will mainly be about me trying to start a successful poker career, i'll give you guys regular updates on my adventures into one of the biggest booms in the last 5 years. Like many others I became a fan of poker after watching Moneymakers run in 03 w.s.o.p. (World series of poker) just in case you didn't know. My first exposure to live poker was at work where we played on breaks or after hours. I remember my first trip to Atlantic City to play poker was on bus trip with some of the guys from work. I played 2/4 limit, won about 400 dollars and it was over after that, I told the guys to leave me there and I would find my own way home. I was hooked!!! I wanted to play all the time and played wherever I could. The trip to A.C. took 2/1/2 hours and I made it frequently. I started out playing 2/4 but something about it didn't suit me so I changed to 1/2 no-limit and Oh boy it was all over then, if I thought I was hooked before I was in serious trouble now, I went in hard, I would play the cash games at the tropicana, trop for short for days straight, my wife was screaming at me, my friends were looking for me, I still had a job during this time so they were looking for me too. Lets just say I didn't start out making the best judgments in my poker career and it cost me alot and not just in money. I'm trying to make better decisions now and am still very happily married and attempting to pursue my dream. More to come soon, Let me know what you guys think thanks n advance.
